Education: majored in Electric Bass at the Hilversum Conservatory from 1984-1989, studying with Jan Hollestelle, Theo de Jong and Marcel Schimscheimer.
Award: Best Dutch Blues Bassist Award 2011.
Equally at home in jazz, blues and rock styles, his bass playing betrays the influence of James Jamerson, Willie Weeks, Chuck Rainey, Tom Fowler, and Bernard Edwards.
